💈 Welcome to The Boneyard ☠️
“Haircuts held to a higher standard.”
We take our craft very seriously. We are trusted by many of the USU and BYU student athletes because we always take our time and pay attention to detail. We have an awesome, laid back, chill environment. 2000’s throwback music is often the go to. We encourage bringing your friends with you to play some billiards or video games while you wait. Online appointments are preferred and very simple on our sleek website. We are usually booked out in advance, which makes it hard to take walk-ins, but you can always try!

Our Logan Barbers

Marcus Maes (Owner)
I’ve lived in Logan my whole life and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. My first passion was basketball, I still play 2-3 times a week when I can. Unfortunately I’m not playing for the Lakers right now so I figured Barbering was the next best thing! I love being a barber because It allows me to stay in contact with all my old friends, and make new friends along the way. My goal when I opened up Boneyard Barbering was to bring some culture to Logan, and hopefully inspire others with ideas and dreams to just go for it. That’s where #StaySwingin comes from.

Kenyon Turner
I love working at Boneyard Barbering. Plan on being here for awhile. I served a full time Mission in Alaska. Went to the Paul Mitchell here in Logan. I like to hike, workout, game, skate & chill. One of the first barbers here at Boneyard and believe that we take our time to make sure it's looking extra nice. Let's make you look fresh.

Max Allen
I spent half my life in Cove, just north of Logan, and another large portion of my life in Southern California. No matter where I have lived I played lacrosse and was at climbing gyms and in the outdoors as much as possible. I started cutting while working at a group home, I loved it, the challenges, the artistic origin, so I went to barber school. Skiing, climbing, lacrosse and barbering are what I love to do

Haley Christensen
I was born and raised in Logan, Utah. I studied cosmetology at Paul Mitchell and ever since then I’ve fallen in love with barbering. I love making people look and feel confident. I also love learning new techniques, and being able to improve my work everyday. I’m working my dream job and couldn’t be more stoked! When I’m not cutting hair, I’m usually doing anything outdoors or kicking it back with friends and family.

Starwin Holiday
Hi, my name is Starwin Holiday, but everybody calls me STAR, In from a small town called Monument Valley, UT. I'm am a native american (navajo tribe). I've always love cutting hair, since I was 14 years old, never thought I would do anything with it. Tell I moved to logan, about 9 years ago. Applied for a school in cosmotology and got my license, and now working in a amazing barber shop here. Learning new ways to style/cut hair, making new friends, and meeting new people. I love how my life turned out. A shout out to my wife and kids, for supporting in all of this, and all the people in my life, who helped me along the way. Love, peace, and chicken grease!

Maddi Jensen
I grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, and my husband and I moved up to Cache Valley a couple years ago. We love it! We enjoy going indoor and outdoor rock climbing, and have a sweet little yorkie. I am passionate about barbering and the continual learning I do everyday! I love how being in this industry I can get to know so many different people, and bring smiles and confidence to the clients I meet. I love working at Boneyard Barbering, and the awesome people I work with!

Eric Horn
I was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. I have a huge passion for hiking, trail running, fly fishing, bow hunting, and snowboarding. I’ve been barbering professionally for 8 years, and over the years I’ve crafted my skill into an ongoing passion where I’m always looking for ways to keep getting better. It’s rewarding to put out a cut that makes someone look and feel great, and I can’t wait to continue to push myself to be the best version of myself while making my clients happy as well.
our provo barbers

Christian “Ty2si” Avevedo (Provo Co-Owner)
Originally I started cutting hair in Southern California halfway through my sophomore year of high school back in 2010. To stay out of trouble I became homeschooled even though no one believed I would graduate. As a result I turned to barbering so I could stay in touch with my boys. After realizing my passion for creating clean cuts, I moved to Utah where I’ve been for the past 3 years perfecting my craft and acquiring a career. Many have tried to prove that I’m wasting my time, but I’ve noticed that those have been the people that aren’t willing to take a chance for something great and have ended up with nothing to show for it.
I’ve always wanted to be a role model in my community. So after having the chance to work with and meet some of the biggest names in Barbering, I’ve recognized me and them have something in common. Something Boneyard Barbering stands for. Bringing culture to the community and helping people feel better about themselves.

Jehicob Rivas (Provo Co-Owner)
I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. I grew up playing baseball competitively and working to make it to the MLB. When I was 23 I moved to New York and later found my way to Provo, UT for school and work. I started cutting hair for my friends and family when I was 20 and in 2018 I started making it career. I love the flexibility, growth, and creativity that barbering offers me. I like to provide my clients fresh design and cuts. If I am not cutting hair, you can find me the gym where I feel the most alive and healthy.

Kenia Teno
I'm originally from Mexico, but grew up in Oakland, California. I've been living in Utah for about 7 years now, going to USU, then Paul Mitchell in Logan. Ever since I was a little girl, I always had a passion for hairstyling and all that and I aspired to be a hairstylist one day. Once in Cosmetology school, I fell in love with the barbering aspect of it and ever since then, it's been my passion and honestly my happy place. I love everything about this industry and how it's constantly evolving. I love how a quality haircut can bring a smile and more confidence to a guy and I work hard to bring that to every single client I meet! I'm always looking to try different designs/cuts and push my limits creatively to improve everyday!

Edward Galo
Hey my name is Edward! I go by Ed, Eddie, Eduardo, or Lalo. I’m from Newburgh, NY and got a passion for barbering when I turned 18. I moved out to Utah then, but i didn’t seriously Pursue my passion until COVID hit. I graduated from The Barber School in Midvale. I love barbering, being able to vibe with everybody and just have a good time! I’m always looking to improve and learn new techniques. Let’s get you looking right!

Jorgan Remme
I’m originally from South Dakota. I moved to Utah for cosmetology school. I have always been passionate about art and beauty, so the creativity and technical skills of barbering and uplifting others is something I fell in love with! When I’m not cutting hair, i like to paint! I’m so happy to be a part of such an amazing industry.

Chelsea Howard
I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I moved to Utah about five years ago. I went to UVU when I first moved here then switched into Paul Mitchells cosmetology program in provo. I love working on mens hair and love getting to see and meet so many new faces everyday! Growing up my mom always said “when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you do good.” I have always lived by this saying so being able to work in hair where my job is to make someone feel happier and more confident with a new hair cut has been such an incredible experience for me. I love seeing my clients leaving the shop feeling like a million bucks ;)
